The rise of Chinese developers is highly commendable. The lack of English documentation on the website prevents me from considering the project. I understand that I may not be the target market.

The Mulan license was released by the COSCL (China Open Source Cloud League? I guess? They didn't state that in their About page) to promote open source movement among Chinese companies.

This is an open source release of the database with the highest ever certified TPCC result. Horizontal scalability might be a bold claim but they’ve got some evidence behind it.
OceanBase was open sourced but they deleted everything says it will no longer be open sourced. Now in 2021 they “open source” it again?
TPCC result means nothing without context, Alibaba spent 54 million USD for hardware building the system to run the tests, in comparison 9 years before Oracle only spent 30 million.
Winning a test with almost doubled hardware cost and obviously newer and more powerful hardware, does it really matter?
