Yeah, being from Belgium I can say that it is great. Makes it easy for me to test the IPv6 support on my servers.

The is one advantage of having an active duopoly [1] in the ISP market. Belgacom (38% market share) started migrating customers to dual stack in 2013. Telenet (40% market share) soon followed in 2014.

Unitymedia, a huge German ISP, has been running dual stack for a few years now.


Actually it's Dual Stack Lite, so you win an IPv6 address, but lose your publicly routable IPv4 address and port forwarding.


Which is really annoying, too, since there's no configurable IPv6 firewall (it's either on or off). But at least they do use IPv6.
